How Community Challenges work.
An occasional event Alpha launches for the whole community - one shared task, everyone submits, the best photo wins. No sign-up, no separate queue - it just shows up.
🏆 How it starts
Alpha launches a Challenge whenever they want - it isn't on a fixed weekly schedule. The moment it launches, every currently-locked Slave gets it automatically, right on their Today page next to their normal daily task - marked with a 🏆 COMMUNITY CHALLENGE tag so it's obviously different from a regular order.
There's no accept/decline step and nothing to opt into - it's simply an extra task on top of whatever else you have going on, and it never blocks you from taking a normal extra task draw while it's active.
⏱ 3-day deadline
Every Challenge runs for exactly 3 days from the moment it launches. Upload a photo (or video, if you have video access) like any other task, with an optional caption. Miss the deadline or refuse it and the standard task penalty applies, same as any other order.
Your submission posts to the Feed and your profile exactly like any other proof - just carrying the challenge badge so everyone can tell it was part of the event.
🥇 How a winner is decided
Whoever's submission has the most reactions when the 3 days end wins - the same heart/reaction buttons every photo already has, nothing new to learn and no separate voting to run. A tie for first place is left as a tie - no winner is picked arbitrarily.
✦ Winner reward
The winner gets +50 bonus points on top of the usual chest points for completing the task, plus a notification announcing the win.
📊 Leaderboard & archive
The Challenges page shows the live standings while a Challenge is running - every submission so far, ranked by reactions, updating as people join in. Once it ends, it moves into the archive below the leaderboard with the final winner and reaction count, so past events stay visible.
