How blocking works.
Blocking is mutual and immediate - here's exactly what it hides, from both sides, and how to undo it.
🚫 Blocking someone
Block anyone from their profile page. You'll automatically stop following each other the moment you do - blocking clears any existing follow in both directions.
🔒 What it actually does
Once blocked, you and that person can no longer see:
- Each other's profile and photos
- Each other's messages - an existing conversation becomes inaccessible to both of you immediately, though nothing is deleted (see below)
- Each other in the Feed, forum, likes and comment lists
They also can't send you a task ("Give Task"), request you as a Slave or Keyholder, or reach you in any other member-to-member way while the block is active.
🔁 It works both ways
Blocking is symmetric - it doesn't matter who blocked whom, the effect is identical for both accounts. There's no way to block someone one-directionally while still seeing their content yourself.
🔓 Unblocking
Manage everyone you've blocked from Settings → Privacy & content → Blocked users. Unblocking restores visibility immediately, including any message history you had before - nothing was deleted, it was just hidden while the block was active.
