How blocking works.
Blocking is mutual and immediate - here's exactly what it hides, from both sides, and how to undo it.
๐ซ Blocking someone
Block anyone from their profile page. You'll automatically stop following each other the moment you do - blocking clears any existing follow in both directions.
๐ What it actually does
Once blocked, you and that person can no longer see:
- Each other's profile and photos
- Each other's messages - an existing conversation becomes inaccessible to both of you immediately, though nothing is deleted (see below)
- Each other in the Feed, forum, likes and comment lists
They also can't send you a task ("Give Task"), request you as a Slave or Keyholder, or reach you in any other member-to-member way while the block is active.
๐ It works both ways
Blocking is symmetric - it doesn't matter who blocked whom, the effect is identical for both accounts. There's no way to block someone one-directionally while still seeing their content yourself.
๐ Unblocking
Manage everyone you've blocked from Settings โ Privacy & content โ Blocked users. Unblocking restores visibility immediately, including any message history you had before - nothing was deleted, it was just hidden while the block was active.
