How Stories work.
Quick, temporary updates that show up in a ring above the Feed - here's exactly how posting, expiry and viewing work.
📲 What a Story is
A Story is a short-lived photo or video update, separate from your regular Feed posts and task proofs. Anyone with an active Story shows up as a ring around their avatar above the Feed - tap it to view.
➕ Posting a Story
Tap the 📸 icon in the header to add one. It's a single photo (or, with Premium, up to a 30-second video instead) plus an optional caption, and you can post up to 5 Stories a day. Every account type can post them - Keyholders included, even though they don't have lock tasks.
⏳ Expires after 24 hours
By default, every Story - photo or video, from any account - disappears automatically 24 hours after you post it. It stops showing in the ring and can't be viewed anymore.
🗄️ Premium keeps them forever
If your account has Premium, your Stories work a little differently: once the 24-hour window ends, they don't get deleted. Instead they move into your own permanent Story Archive - a page anyone who can see your profile can browse anytime, not just for the first day. Your profile shows a STORY ARCHIVE button once you have one.
👀 Who sees it, and who can see who viewed
Anyone who could already see your profile can see your Story - the same visibility rules as everything else on Tracker, including blocking. Only you can see the full list of who's viewed each of your Stories, along with like counts.
